The hut

The Gaspard family has recently build a new hut located in a truly outstanding location from where you can have an awesome view towards Cervino mountain and the whole village of Valtournenche.

The Hut is a double-story building backing into a cave in the rock and contains a private residence, a cheese-making room and a large barn to house the cows.

The Hut, “Falinère”, is built where Mr. Giovanni spent his childhood and was originally the property of his grandparents. In 2012 works started to reclaim lands and recreate the pastures that had disappeared because of bush advancement. Rebuilding the hut has allowed Giovanni to recall his happy childhood and he hopes to one day pass the hut down to his family.

If you decide to spend your holidays in this little paradise and to wake up with a magnificent view you will have the opportunity to rent "La Casetta". It is a cute and new apartment in a mountain chalet with a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a three places sofa bed, a bathroom, a rustic kitchen and a big balcony.
